WIPRO Fellowship
The Wipro Science Education Fellowship is an exciting opportunity to support science teaching through an intensive, district-wide effort. The Fellowship is sponsored by Wipro (www.wipro.com) and based upon the success of the Boston Science Partnership’s Science Education Fellowship, which was supported through the National Science Foundation (2009 – 2012). The program will run from 2018 to 2022, serving three cohorts of teachers.
The fellowship is a two-year-long program for experienced teachers, which uses a model of teacher support and development to increase the quality of teaching and leadership in science throughout several districts. The Missouri Wipro Science Education Fellowship program follows the methodology of the Boston program. The program targets mid-Missouri districts and is conducted and managed by a team from the University of Missouri in Columbia.
